According to CBS Sports' Seth Davis, the Oklahoma Sooners have apparently fired head basketball coach Jeff Capel.
There are no further details at the moment but after five seasons at the helm and back-to-back losing seasons, apparently the university felt it was time for a change.
If the reports are true, Capel will leave the Sooners having emassed a 96-69 overall record as the head coach but an abysmal 37-43 combined in-conference record.
