Update: 8:43pm CST - According to the Associated Press, San Diego State is close to finalizing a deal with Rocky Long for him to replace the recently departed Brady Hoke as the head coach of San Diego State.

With Brady Hoke close to being on his way to Michigan, the San Diego State Aztecs will be looking for their next head coach to replace him.

According to a source I spoke to in San Diego, the Aztecs are already in talks with Rocky Long to be the next head coach.

This shouldn't come as a shock to a lot of San Diego State football fans as it was expected that Long would take the job if in fact Hoke departed for Ann Arbor.

Nothing is offical yet but once it's done we'll let you know.
