After Rich Rodriguez was fired from Michigan after the 2010 season, college football fans wondered where Rich Rod may end up next? Would it be a head coaching job and could it possibly be back at the University of West Virginia, a place he left to take the Michigan job?
There were also rumors, according to two different sources, who told me Rodriguez was going to surface as the head coach at Clemson.
Turns out neither were correct.
CBS Sports announced a few minutes ago, via Twitter, they have added the former Michigan coach as an in studio and game analyst for the 2011 college football season. Rodriguez joined the CBS staff earlier this year as they brought the former head coach to provide insight to National Signing Day.
